About Azeem Ali Khan Counselling/Psychotherapy for Individuals & Couples
- I am a warm and empathic therapist, who can talk to all sorts of clients on their level.
- I have formed successful therapeutic relationships with a wide range of people (the age range of my clients is from 14 to 60), from highly diverse backgrounds.
- My own mixed-race heritage (I am half Pakistani) has given me direct experience of some of the issues that can arise (racial prejudice, cultural expectations, and feeling “caught between two worlds”) and thus an enhanced awareness of and sensitivity to diversity.
My training, work experience and any achievement
- I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling in 2001, and since then I have worked in both private practice and as part of university counselling services (at the LSE and the University of Law).- I have also worked with vulnerable teenagers on the Teens & Toddlers project, with which I was involved at its inception in 2002.
